Amidst growing and adventuring through a constant state of change, I find a tranquil & ancient language in the ceramic process.
Each piece tells a unique story, reflecting the beauty of imperfection, the nature of clay and the hands that created it. I believe that objects can make us pause, take a breath, remember, transport us to a different place or bring up emotions inside ourselves.
Focusing on human experience and daily rituals, my work references the interdependent relationship humans have with our earth. Combining ideas rooted in functional earthenware with surface texture gesturing mindfulness, connection to the body and finding oneself through the clay.
